If this rider has hurt someone he should be dealt with but I'm surprised he could be charged with GBH. I can understand the wanton and furious cycling charge but not the seperate charge of GBH.

Given that almost no drivers who kill cyclists get custodial sentences is it a them and us sentencing policy? I would have thought its a RTC the same as a car so would be dealt with the same way.

He'd left the little girl after seriously injuring her with life threatening injuries and fled the scene. He deserves a custodial.
