I've the Edge 530 with the standard setup from the home screen of
- Mountain Bike
- Road Bike
- Indoor.
When I go to Mountain Bike, I see a screen of Flow, Grit etc but in the "background" if I hit jumps and drops, it records them and you get a little beep when you land...cool. Anyway, I noticed that at the weekend, if I navigate to Trailforks while recording an activity, then it stops recording the jumps.
Yesterday, I did a 3hr ride, briefly toggled to TrailForks to check the start of the trail and then toggled back - the Garmin still recording the full route (no longer viewing TrailForks) - but no jumps from that point on.
My mate's does the same, so it's not strictly a user error. Anyone know how to stop it doing that?
I have an 830, so may be different. But you don't need to go to the Trailforks app, if you enable the Trailforks map then you should be able to see it on the map screen. It'll be overlaid on the standard map.
