Is anyone else experiencing problems? I've been uploading from my Garmin device for the past 18 months using Chrome & my mac, however went to upload today & it's saying I don't have the communicator plugin installed, thought maybe it's been upgraded, so downloaded & re-installed & still getting the same error...

Any ideas?!

This happened to me a few days ago- for some reason Chrome had started blocking the pop-up for the Garmin communicator. I just clicked at the top the little icon that says 'always allow pop-ups for this site' and it was fine again.

No idea why it started doing that, had been fine for ages before.

I'm manually importing into Garmin Connect now which oddly doesn't use the plugin anyway. It uses Garmin Express to auto-sync but I uninstalled it after I was having problems with rides getting deleted. It's extra bloat and I don't trust it.

Sometimes I manage to get the Bluetooth sync to work on my phone to upload but it's rare it works so I don't generally bother.

Anyway, I then have Strava and others connected to Garmin Connect and after uploading to Connect it does the job of syncing to the others so I don't need the plugin any more to upload to Strava.

It's garmin express now, will auto up load to garmin connect and strava as soon as you plug in your garmin

there's a Garmin app for mac that auto downloads from your device, and uploads it to Garmin Connect

edit: as above!

Mines been fine and dandy, though I use safari and express. Also I use the auto uploader and have had no problems at all.

That's not to say in the early days I didnt, certainly with express, but Garmin sorted that out back in July IIRC.

Anyhoos, mines fine,
