First proper ride out over some unknown trails this morning with my new garmin 800 and all went well.
Only annoying thing was it bleeping every 30 yards on some sections to notify me of a turn along with the screen pop up when there wasn't really a turn.
It's great on the road sections in between but got frustrating on some of the long twisty off road stuff.

Route was plotted on bikehike and then dumped straight on to the garmin.
Any suggestions? Thanks.

Yep, mine gets turned off for use on the MTB.
Cos I'm slow, innit?
Turned the turn by turn option off which still leaves the off course buzzer on and all was peaceful this morning.
Loads better.
