[#13536424]

Mrs L might want to hire a bike for a day or two in Morzine next week.
It doesn’t need to be the flashiest or newest bike; just something well maintained with a decent set of forks to help her deal with her carpal tunnel.

Any recommendations for somewhere that might have such a bike?

If you can get up to Les Gets, Evasion Sports have been good with us a couple of times.

I also used the above this week. Didn’t pre-book, just wondered in, very helpful. Downhill rig, ff helmet and full pads was 99 euros for the day.

Slight thread jack. I'm in Morzine in sept, was going to see if I could rent potential new bikes that interest me. Anyone rented a Rocky Mountain or a Scott? intersted in the Altitude and Ransom

Cheers

I’ve been in Morzine many times. I’ve not rented, but I’ve been in and out of several of the shops for parts and service. The ones I have had very positive experience with were the Woods and Alan’s Bikes. I’ve also found FB Freeride very helpful.

Best 'budget' option will probably be Intersport next to the Super Morzine lift , they always used to have bikes at the more XC end of enduro. Most other places are enduro/DH at close to 100€ a day, possibly extra for protection

I had a gander this am and 90 euros was the cheapest and 100 the most common.

Agree - intersport is  the cheapest option.
