Crud Catcher doesn't work well as cables run undder the downtube and there are bosses for the brake hose too. Don't want a close fitting road/hybrid stylee thing as ride on/off road with it, trailing the kids around etc. fork fitting a shock board won't work as hole in steerer is stepped so plug won't fit. Tried a SKS beavertail, but too long and floppy 😆
any ideas ?
just space the crud catcher out (i.e. away from the downtube) with some high density foam

brilliant idea - dunno why I never thought of that - I have some old welly boots that would provide some 'high density rubber' which will do the job perfect

I cut a split down mine to allow the middle cable to run through it and the outer cables run on the upper side, no probs with routing or shifting.
