Freewheel Problem

Hi, I am looking for any advice or ideas!

I have a Newmen rear wheel with an XD drive on a Cube carbon fibre bike. Every few weeks or so the bearings in the freehub fail - completely mashed. I also note that I cannot put any tension on torque on the rear wheel axle without the rear wheel spinning less freely. I was thinking it was the rear wheel, but I swapped the rear wheel out and had the same issue with torque and the free wheel spinning freely.

I am thinking it is maybe the frame? Any thoughts?
