Single row or double row balls….Does it just come down to longevity? Or does it alter movement?
Thanks

Double row on bike frames tends to make me think the manufacturer is wanting more rigidity in that area, but doesn't have the real estate with where it's located, so if you can't get it with diameter, get it with width. There's more benefits and negatives of course, but it's really just whatever meets the design requirements, and with that whatever lateral forces / stiffness is required.

I suspect that double row bearings are actually wider. I fitted some on a mates T130 and I am sure they were wider.
