Fork and shock have been running a year and 1000km+ since new, time for an oil change service. I think i'm ok servicing the fork myself, I dont fancy the away time of sending it off somewhere
- Fox Rhythm 36 Grip 29 140. Just need to select the kit from TFtuned and get the right oil weights and volumes.
But the shock is the Fox Float ReAktiv EVOL, and not the thrushaft one. TFtuned charge more for ReAktiv shock service and the seal kits never list the ReAktiv model specifically as being compatible.
What is special about it? Fox website has no info even when i put the product ID in.
Can i service a fluid change and seal change at home? Special tools? Procedure?
What seal kit fits, oil weight, oil volume? Can't find anything thats definitely the right info for this shock.
It has always felt fantastic on the bike - Trek Fuel EX. The back end has felt so planted, its a great shock, I really dont want to screw it up! Asking here, then will need to contact Fox next week.
