just an observation but i would appear to be running both my forks well below fox pressure recommendations. At around 185lbs rider weight fox recommend approx 90psi, i run mine at 70psi and still dont get full travel. Am I just light on my forks or is this the same for other people?

Me too. I set mine on desired sag and monitor travel with zip tie. Optimum pressure is much lower than Fox tables recommend - I've found tables only good as a starting point.

me 225 lbs ( ๐Ÿ˜ฏ ) - IIRC fox recomendation was about 110 psi (32RL) but i'm currently running 80-85 PSI.
Also using the zip tie measuring method....

Same same......185lbs, should be 90psi but just realised I was pinging off rocks 'cause they were too hard. Ignore the manual, trial and error, use the zip-tie. I run mine at 70 now.

Great when you get them right.

careful with the zip tie at full compression ending up embedded in the seal !

I dont use the weight chart. I do it by rubber O ring on fork and
like it at 35 mm sag on a 160 Talas, easy to keep your eye on.

Put a rubber O ring on your fork when servicing your Forks
it wont scratch your stanchions
