Fox fluid, can i us...

Hello

I have som 5, 7.5, 15 w oil lying around can i use that, or should i get the fox ???

Oh i have a fox float R, when i turn the canister around, it just turns !, i spotted underneath there sits a steelring, should i juste pry it off ???

i usually use akternate fluids, but for the application where float fluid is recommended, thats what i use..........no excuse for mojo to then reject warranty claims then.

Just use fox float fluid, it isn't expensive and it's what you are meant to use.

The Float Fluid is indeed 85w gear oil
Don't confuse it with the damping fluid - that needs to be 7-10wt

I find a mixture of goose fat, lard, hair gel and boot polish make the perfect alternative to "expensive" chain lube ๐Ÿ˜†
