[Closed] Forward Components EBB converter thingo

Anyone used one of [url= http://forwardcomponents.blogspot.com/2008/12/eccentric-bottom-bracket-patent.html ]these[/url] to run a SS/Alfine setup? [i]Much[/i] cheaper than the Trickstuff Excentriker (works out to be around £90 posted, including the fitting tool, compared to £149 + £17 for the tool!...)

Cheers AdamM... didn't think to use the search, sorry 🙁

The Forward Component's one should work out around £90-£100 delivered, so that's not [i]too[/i] unreasonable, 'specially since the frame I'm using isn't too expensive...

You may find my previous comments on here that I tried to get one off Forward Components but he was having 'supplier problems' (it was 6 months ago that I was looking to buy one so things may have changed now) and wouldn't / couldn't deliver. He did refund my paypal payment promptly, but it was a pain and a disappointment. I'd be interested to know how you get on - it looks a good solution, as does the Excentriker.
