A few months ago we booked some accomodation to go and try the red route/gonda at fort william, we chose this weekend because it looked like there werent any events on.
Now I see that the Scottish SXC race is on on the 13th, does any one know whether this will mean that the gondola/red route will be closed to normal people on this day, or does the scottish sxc race use a different course?
Best checking with Nevis range but I guess this is a XC race so will not be using the downhill track thus Gondola should be open to public and just marshals at the crossing points where the downhill crosses their course.
They didn't close the nevis red or DH for 10UTB despite it turning the puggy line into a congested high street... I'd guess it'll be the same for the SXC. But just ask!
