hi guys I have a set of 150-135-120 adjustable RS U Turn single air forks but while riding yesterday I noticed that I only had 120 travel even when the turn key at the top of the leg was turned to max .

this evening I have tried to set the air pressure in the forks but nothing changed, I have had to inflate to 250psi to get them to move to 135mm of travel but cant achieve the full 150mm travel .

forks moving up and down as normal just no travel adjustment any ideas ?

Possibly bad news I'm afraid (if it's the same problem I had).

I had some Revelation Team U-Turn 150-120mm forks about 3 to 4 years ago and on their 2nd ride from new, they got stuck down in their travel after I hit a large hole at speed. The cause was a faulty batch of U-Turn cartridges, and mine were fixed under SRAM's warranty within a week (replacement cartridge). There was a loud 'clack' noise when mine went, sort of like a cir-clip snapping out of place.

At the time, I was able to find a few other people with the same fault, but now I can only find one reference to this online:

It's possible your issue is something else though, especially if you didn't hear any noise when it went.

Good luck.

Revelations? No help on the issue but if it's the spring side gone kaput there's a decent selection of cheap spares on the Planet X site, quick glance and they have revelation air assemblies and sector coil assemblies instock for under £20.

Thanks guys I have a feeling its going to be more expensive to repair than to replace with a second hand set . might go solid front end for now as was thinking of moving up to 650b anyway .
