So my new forks are arriving tomorrow and was wondering what the recommended form of protection is for the legs/crown etc? Just good ol' heli-tape?

I just keep them in the draw next to the spoons.

Invisiframe? I use it on my frame, didn't bother with forks though.

Muckynutz or similar mudguard, helps by keeping crap off the seals.

I'm using thick 3m (genuine stuff) helitape on everything. £14 off eBay for 3metres x 100mm. Sure it discolours...but at that price I can re-cover it several times over a couple of years.

Helitape just gets ripped up if you have an off on rocks.
