[Closed] Fork air valve / pump question..... XFusion Sweeps

Ive recently bought some XFusion Sweeps from Bird. Who i might add are a very easy, professional and pleasant company to deal with. Started building up the build today and the shock pump i have doesnt fit the forks valve. Well it does, but doesnt screw on far enough to put any air in. Are there different shock pumps? I have a 2/3 year old Rockshox pump.

What pump do you people recommend / use?

cheers

I have those forks and a very ancient Scott branded presumably generic shock pump which fits fine.

Same as this

See my topic for shitely made x fusion pump that broke on it's fourth use.

According to tweeks and upgrade x fusion dont sell them seperately so very much reckon they are cheap imitation pumps thriw away after setting up new initial forks

You do get a pump with the forks as standard. Is this the one that isn't working or one of your own?

Generally any shock pump would fit and do the job, think it comes down to how much your willing to spend on one.

didnt get one with the forks. I have a rockshox pump. Works fine on my marzzochis and DHX air shock. just doesnt seem to screw far enough down. I standard Lezyne pump fits (dont worry, i didnt use this). So im at a little bit of a loss....

Fox ones are best bet, it's almost as if x fusions are a slightly smaller diameter thread, so make sure the head goes on square.

Is this missing thread at the bottom of the valve? Or is it normal?
