tagging along with mrs mcgroo and her crew the weekend after next to christchurch in gloucestershire, just looked on google earth and found it's in the forest of dean.

been doing a bit of searching and found out about some family trails (not for me) with talk of singletrack. anyone know if there are any waymarked singletrack or which are the best areas to go ๐Ÿ™‚

The FODCA trail's waymarked but not up to much.

Loads of singletrack but it can be hard to find without a local to show you round.

I live in hereford anout 30 mins drive from fod, so i have been a couple of times. threre is a marked out xc route next to the carpark (ride away bike centre) i think that what its called. Anyway that is fun to have a blast round, but is very short takes like half hour to get round. but by all means you can have some fun on that, its not very challenging but very fun. But if you know your way around the forest there is miles upon miles of trails to ride. Oh and there is alot of downhill routes in the forest. hope that helped a little.

Lots of options from the Christchurch campsite, you could go over towards pedalabikeaway http://www.pedalabikeaway.co.uk/

or go on the other direction towards Staunton, Newland and down to Redbrook and or Symonds Yat. With pubs at all these locations it can make for a very social ride ๐Ÿ™‚

Really depends on what your looking for? If you use gps I could help you out with a route.
