Hiย

ย

Can you fit a bike in the back of one of these with both rows of seats up and the wheels on the bike? If so what size bike?

ย

My longest bike is a P3 privateer 161

ย

Thanks in advance

The LWB connect in regular 2 seat configuration has a load space about 2m long, so removing a row a seats and a foot well from that is going to knock off at least a meter, probably more.

You could get a Brompton in with the wheels on ๐Ÿ™‚

Not a chance with the Privateer. I can get a 24" Nukeproof Cub Scout + 20" Orbea Laugey in at the same time, but no way would my hardtail or Mega fit in with the seats up (full disclosure, I'm talking about a Berlingo, but I'm very confident the Connect wont be better)

Google says:

The Ford Transit Connect L2 Double Cab-In-Van (DCiV) has aย load length of 1,061mm and a load height of 1,267mm.ย The load space length, measured to the bulkhead, is 2,152mm in the L2 van version.ย The load space width is 1,496mm at floor height.

ย

So I'd say that's a definite no for the DCiV version....

A regular 29er goes straight in the L2 van with a few inches to spare.ย
