Does anyone use Föhn jackets for riding?

They look like they are more walking orientated - no dropped hem etc, but some seem to have vents

Noticed someone mentioned using their trousers to ride in yesterday

I ask, as the jackets look quite nice and seem to be reduced everywhere at the moment

Aren't they just the outdoor equivalent to Wiggle's dhb range? The fit might be wrong for riding but I've got a few bits that are nice.

I got a Supercell 3L jacket last year in the sale,  pretty much same reasoning as you,  looked decent and were a good price.

Used it mainly for commuting and it has kept me dry and warm in some horrible weather,  not ridden hard in warm weather yet so cant really comment on boil-in-the-bag-nes. I did go for the next size up though because I thought the sizing looked a bit stingy.

On the short mtb rides I've done with it it's been comfortable and done it's job well.

Only downside is the hood is massive!

My Fohn 2L lightweight jacket has same cut as my Nukeproof packable cycling jacket - and both have a slight dropped rear (about 50mm)

Picked up some of their trial lite and trial riding riding trousers and a thin fleece jacket in the sale and pretty happy with them, especially the trousers as the have a long leg option
