Did the Full boar Lovely day yesterday, great trails, ran a touch short of water at end and cramped on last fire road climb (apologies for making anyone jump shouting ๐Ÿ˜‰ )

How'd everyone else find it?

Full Boar - 2L from the start, topped-up with about another litre enroute. Special thanks to the couple handing out bananas and water on the edge of Coleford. Never have I appreciated a banana more than then!

Thought it was really well organised.

Did the Full Boar and started with just over 1.5l and didn't stop at all. Ran out about 2 miles from the end. It wasn't until about a hour after that I realised how badly dehydrated I was. I drank a litre of water on the journey home, another half litre when I got home, continued trying to rehydrate but still had a head ache going to bed!

Yeah,
Did the Full Boar.
Managed on three litres,just!
Carried a bottle as well and was drinking the cups of water at every stop.
Good event!
A few interesting bits in the trees and a few climbs!

Sounds like you need a special "diarrhoea sized" 5L Camelbak mate! ๐Ÿ˜‰

How did you find it though, ok?

Rode round with my GF and a couple of friends, started right at the back, took it a bit leisurely. But for the first time in my life I suffered with breathing problems! Needed medical attention at the end cos I was hyperventilating and couldn't slow down! Was horrible. Still completed the full boar mind... Good ride all told, just didn't enjoy the breathing difficulties. Think it was brought on by the amount of dust and pollen, cos I've never had an issue before. Got told by the medics it "probably wasn't a good idea to push yourself do hard" to which I replied along the lines of it being nothing compared to the road miles I've been putting in lately, and 12hr solo last year etc. which didn't cause me any issues!

Thoroughly enjoyed it, did the full boar.. Wasn't fast or graceful but I made it lol.

The feed station at m18 (couple in a motor home) were much needed. I've also decided on any event like this bananas are my best friend for keeping me going.

Did anybody make it up the mork hill climb?
