My girlfriend has size 4/37 feet and so the current trend of massive platforms means her soles would miss half of the pins!

She isn't hugely gnar and is a bit afraid of mega long pins and doesn't really need them.

Would DMR V8/V12 or shimano saint be good options?

i am a size 41 and unless i am wearing big boots i can only just cover the pins on V8s.
I would also like some flats which is slight smaller but never found any.

I use these for the kids as they are pretty small

I'm a size 38 and use the carboncycles flat pedals with no problems ( http://www.carboncycles.cc/?s=0&c=84&p=940&tb=001). Have also used the DMR V8 with no issues.

Hi mate

The V8/V12 and Shimano are pretty thick so more chance of pedal strikes to floor/objects.

I ride DMR Vaults big/thin.

For a narrower pedals I'd buy

http://www.carboncycles.cc/?s=0&c=84&p=1637&tb=001 (thru pins - easier to replace when worn down as allen cap is hidden away)

Smallest Cursing has size 3 feet and best by far I could find were Wellgo KC001. http://www.amazon.com/Wellgo-KC001-Bicycle-Pedals-Aluminium/dp/B00W6L39A4

Like proper pedals only smaller.

Used the Specialized ones for years, never had to service them

Not a bad price here

My OH and I have been using Superstars pedals on our trail bikes for years, and they've been really good; reliable, grippy and not too heavy (also good pricing). We also run DMR Vaults - very grippy but relatively large and slightly more difficult to adjust feet because of the extra grip.

Superstars don't do the old pedals that we have any more, but looks like the nearest equivalent are these:
