Outdoors Magic best approach shoes (October 2022)

I’m currently after some new kayaking shoes to replace my worn out, and discontinued, Five Ten Eddy’s as they are epic on wet rock in the water

Edit: I currently wear FIVE TEN FIVE TENNIE DLX MEN'S APPROACH SHOES made by adidas, which are more like standard trainers with a five ten sole. The sole has worn rather quickly, but the comfort is great.

Thanks, will check them out. I don't climb at all but do bikepack and single speed, sometimes both so there can be a lot of walking over rough terrain and I've found the giveten mtb shoes to be too stiff.

I've not yet been into a shop that stocks them to try on but these shoes from Unparallel look suspiciously similar:

Apparently Unparallel was started by ex 5:10 people. The advantage of the old five tens over other trainers is that the sole is flatter (or dotty) so you don't suffer from uneven pressure as the cleats on the soles get pushed unevenly by pedals.

If you find a pair of those to try on I'd be interested to know the verdict. They also do a mountain bike shoe.
