Literally on the verge of throwing my wheels out the window. My tyre absolutely will not fit back onto my wheel!
Just replaced my inner tubes - double puncture on my last ride, front wheel went on after a LOT of persuasion, but my back wheel is just impossible.
Is there a trick here i'm missing as this is ruining my evening! I want to ride cannock tmoz!!!
Yep, you are missing a massive dose of man up ๐
Warm it up.
smear some washing up liquid around inside bead of tyre and on the inside of wheel rim.
Having bent a lot of cutlery ...

The tyre was on before, right? The main trick is just to get the tyre right down into the well of the rim, that's where the slack comes from.

Possibly the greatest piece of advice ever. Thank the lord.
Start opposite the valve, push the bead as deep into the well as possible, and work it around both sides at the same time. When it goes tight, push it into the well and work it in again and you'll gain a little more slack.
aye, use the centre well of the rim to get slack.
Your not trying to put a 26 tyre on a 29 rim are you? ๐
