do you have a hole in the frame?
do you have a bleed kit?

not fitted one but what I'd expect to be the issues 🙂

Yes have a hole in the frame, yes got a bleed kit, my worry is shortening the hose, do I need anything special to cut it with?

I use these for trimming hydraulic hoses link

Shapr Stanley knife will cut most hydraulic hoses.
Metal braided ones, probably not though!

Not sure of the hose is braided on the reverb, I haven't got it yet

Not braided.

And when you come to disconnect the hose from the either the button or the post I suggest you choose the post end, then you can 'thread' the hose up through the frame, making life slightly easier...not like what I did..

I had the old style one on my old bike and loved it but been waiting ages to get a stealth one to fit my new bike, I couldn't find any one in uk that had a 31.6 with left hand remote, so decided to order one from a German company that had them in stock, some one of here told me who had them, don't you just love stw people for helping out

Post comes with a double ended barb. You push a piece of gear or brake housing up though the frame, put the barb on the top, attach to the reverb hose and pull it down through the seat tube.

I did mine, and cut the hose, without needing to bleed.

Cut hose with cable cutters
