[#2862949]

Okay never posted pics before so this may be a complete disaster.

However, finally got there with my first project build a Pipedream Scion. Had a bit of help along the way and some cursing and swearing because I was trying to get a 10 speed mech to work with a 9 speed set up, but now ready for the maiden voyage tomorrow fingers crossed.

Anyway, the pics prob won;t work but here goes 😀

Good point about the mech - will get onto it.....
Not dirty pants on the sofa but baby's bibs - however, there are some greasy pants on the table!! (Closest thing to hand to wipe away the excess pedal/seatpost grease etc )

What size are the rings on the cranks? They look ace...like they're meant to go FAST!

Nice bike too!

Very nice. Not heard of that frame before. What size is it? Oh, and you seem to have forgotten suspension forks have been invented 😉

Really nice build, now just needs some mud for the complete look!

It's definitely glass - I've got the same ones. 6 for £2 from Tesco 😀

Cheers for all the comments! Glad you all seem to be liking it.
Aye, I am familiar with the suspension malarkey but quite fancied harking back to the old days! (think its a bit of a mid-life crisis - certainly cheaper than a poncy sports car though).
The middleburn rings are 42-29 by the way.
Looking forward to skipping up the hills and flying back down them - albeit in a slightly bumpy and skittery fashion no doubt..... 😯
