Why is a tree wearing a sweater?
Quite a short one today trying out the newfangled SPD malarkey on home turf..
hmmmm.. for pedalling efficiency they are amazing, like being turbo charged, but there's very little where I ride where pedalling efficiency is of any use.. I can't for the life of me think of any other plus points to them either.. The jury is still out, I'll leave them on for another month or so until I'm a bit more confident on them..
It was a lovely afternoon for scurrying around Hisley woods.. but can anyone tell me why there should be such a preponderance of Dor Beetles..?
They were quite a catch when I was a kid, but on the climb up through from Bridge Too Far to Heaven's Gate it's a challenge to avoid squashing them as they carpet the trail..
Loving the guerilla knitting on the tree up there.. 😀
