Should not be a problem.

I used a 40mm rim for a while. No hassles, Larry tyre inflated to 88mm wide.

Get better flotation from wider rims though.

Thanks, my thinking is as this one is dirt cheap I can do it and if I disliked it, there'd be no cries here.

Caustic soda will make it silver. It helped my old Hone chainset look good, con't see why it shouldn't do the same here. Although, if you think about it, a silver Kinesis with CF rear, pink seat clamp and neon front rim, who's gonna nick it?
