Morning all.
I'm after a fast rolling 29er tyre set up recommendations please.
For predominantly tarmac riding but occasionally off road too.
2.0- 2.1 would be ideal.
Any suggestions.
Thunder Burts?
Vittoria - barzo/mezcal/agarro depending what ratio of speed to grip you want.
Yes to the Thunder Burts. They go ok off-road in the dry, too, but are a bit fragile.

Edit - scratch that, I think I’ve taken them and buried them in my storage unit!
Racing Ralph in Speed rubber.
I really like my Barzos on my 29er but possibly more gnar than you need. Roll pretty well on the road but still grippy.
Mezcals would probably be your best bet if your routes are more tarmac than dirt.
I have Ralph’s on my 26er. Roll well too but much thinner side walls and less robust than the Barzos.

Mezcal all the way. Very durable too.
Still think the conti raceking is good too. Bit fragile though.

WTB Nine Lines here. They are slightly better offroad and tougher than the Burts I had previously.
2.1 front and 2.0 rear (which comes in more like 1.8)
I use Racing Ralph front and Thunder Burt rear for 'gravel' riding. Perhaps not the fastest combo for road, but it's definitely worth running something different on the front than rear if your venturing anywhere potentially slippery off road.

Terravail Sparwood are fast rolling. We used them on Tuscany Trail '16 which was 'quite damp'.
Continental Double Fighter, if you are mainly tarmac with a bit of gravel/dirt. As long as it's dryish. They are terrible in mud.
