We’re visiting Milford Haven / Tenby / Saundersfoot this week and looking to get a bit of easy family friendly (green stuff - the little ones aren’t particularly confident) riding in

Don’t mind a drive to get to something good. Any recommendations?

Llysyfran Reservoir fits the bill. Nice cafe, gentle trails with some variations. The blues on the return to the dam are very simple indeed.

The reservoir is great for this! I know the area quite well, abd any stuff near the coast is beset with constant hills which my kids wouldnt have enjoyed.

Definitely llys y fran, was there last week for the first time with my eldest, wanted to check it out before taking the younger two. Will be taking everyone on Thursday this week, it's a lovely place.

Llys-y-fran even missing out the blue/red MTB sections wouldn't IMO fit the bill for the OPs green trail. Don't get me wrong, I love what they've done there.

As an alternative, Canaston Woods might be easier to get to and more family friendly. Caveat- I've not been to that one myself.

Thanks for the input chaps - we did llys-y-fran one day and other than the kids requiring encouragement and a few shoves on the hills they loved it. Certainly finished with smiles and cakes

We did canaston woods later in the week. Other than an abortive attempt at a path that was too rocky for them, we had a great relaxing pedal around there too.

I can confirm that that bit of wales makes for a bloody brilliant family holiday - loads of great places to get the paddle boards out or just have fun by the water
