What's the difference between the road and MTB ones? Dimensions seem to be the same, yet the road bags are £25 more expensiver? Want to use them for both mtb (650b) and road wheels, but dont much fancy buying 2 sets.

Don't know weather they are the same size but I have an Evoc bike bag which is supposed to take ALL wheel sizes. My 650b Sram wheels with 2.35 Hans Damph are a VERY tight fit. Even thought at one point that I wouldn't get them in a rather expensive new bag. Your Enve Mtb wheels/tyres come up even bigger than mine I believe.

Cheers Dave, they are to go into the bike bag (bit of extra protection cant hurt I reckons) was that with the tires inflated or no? A bit of research has uncovered that the road bag has 5mm of foam padding over the mtb ones and, according to the wiggle site, will fit mtb and road wheels.

Had to let the tyres right down 😥 No track pump, so had to pump like the bu**ery for quite a while. Thought I was going to have to remove the tyres. Which bike bag are they going in? The Enve ones are pretty good, just put some foam pipe lagging on as a precaution. Survived unscathed.

They're going in the evoc bike bag, not tested them for fit yet but thats tonights job after your post! Wierd that they were such a tight fit, the description says they/the bike bag are good for 29er wheels and tyres.

Just what I read, that's why I bought it. Took me and Mrs Dhd to get them in, tucking the tyre and working the zip. Even took the front and one rear hub spacers off. Also took the discs off didn't trust leaving them on as it say's in the blurb. Taped them in the bottom of the bag.
