I think I asked this last year for zero response.bike. I didn't go so I'll try again.
any one ridden the Eppynt way? Just wondering what percentages were tarmac, graveland moorland paths etc. can't decide on SS Rigid fork mtb, SS CX bike or the disc braked CX. The Spec enduro is over kill and over weight.

I've thought about riding it, but never done it.
It's about 90km isn't it ? I think different guides gave different lengths when I looked in to it.
I rode a very short section in a howling gale in the winter and soon gave up and turned round.
If I was going to do it, it would be in the summer on a hardtail Rohloff 29er.

I recall IanB rode some or all of it during the winter ... I'm sure he'll be along at some point.
