Found 2 pictures of me on roots and rain but neither of them are the photographers I noticed!

Results should be up today I think the email said?

Roots and rain photos only have the earlier riders, none of the team ones like I was in 🙁 Shame there wasn't an official photographer like at most events, hopefully the Jersey chap mentioned on Page 1 took more

I don't suppose anyone has a map / gpx file of the route, or could point me in the right direction of where to get one?

Many thanks

It is a nice write up. Somehow I managed 25th overall and what looks like 2nd in the veterans 😯 I may now turn pro 😀

QECP team took first even with my bad day at the office. Cuffed with that!! Next round my aim is to stay on the bike.

Happy with 34th - Felt a bit over-cautious at times in hindsight, but going fast/steady with no crashes is no bad thing.

Well done trusty - given our identical time on stage one, I'm guessing you disliked it as much as I did! You must have been giving it the beans on stage 2 though - quick time!

It's interesting looking at the timings it seems dispite enjoying stage 1 I lost a fair bit of time on it!

I'm happy though 19th for me which for my first enduro not too shabby bring on Astonhill! 😀

I came 21st overall and 2nd in Juniors. I'm pretty happy with that considering I know that I had more to give. It was a good race. I'm just waiting for the rest of the photos to surface.

hhmmm a few people seem to have issues with their results, and ive got no time for the final stage?
I did the FOD race last year and I ended up with slower times than the 2 guys in front I kept over taking
its a shame as these are great races but the timing seems so hard to get right

Things about Endoro1 is you really can't take it too seriously and get hung up on times, conditions, etc. Carlos has always maintained 'proper', instant timings would significantly increase the entry cost hence him keeping it simple and therefore more prone to error.

Having said all that i'd be happy to pay more for the added dimension of instant times, podium, etc. on the day.

Nickhead, stage 1 was a case if keeping it steady and not crashing or blowing up! Not my favorite. As for stage 2, it's a trail I've ridden before so I know it a bit. It's the only one I did though. 1.51 for it felt pretty quick. Not sure how another rider was clocked at 1.07 though, that's nuts!

I still like the series, and plan on doing more!
I think FOD was 37 quid + petrol so not that cheap
of course ukge is even more and still has some problems

It just seems that the format overall is very tough to get right

Looking at the results you can see stage 2 times are very quick for some, but the other stages being relatively slow - suggesting that it was a regular or known trail (would have helped knowing which line to take for that sharp right!). It certainly felt like it and was def my fav - loved that one 😀
QECP FTW!

That 1.07 on Stage 2 is a typo. It should be 2.07- look at his other results and his overall time.

Yer wrong times for my team on s1 and others I know but wouldn't have made a massive difference overall and still slow compared to most but would be nice to know it was recorded right that's all

I think have the results on roots and rain would be good to so you can compare your times with your mate's and overall times etc....

Tbh I'm not fussed about the timing, errors would only mean a place or so difference. I'm more than happy with my placing, much better than 115th or so I managed last year!

Thanks for helping out, Sharki. We wouldn't have been racing if it wasn't for people like you.

I've gotten so much out of the sport over the years, its good to put something back into it.

The feeling when you get positive feedback and the general glow of adrenalised fatique from returning riders.
Hearing of the thrills and spills, the banter, the camaraderie, the new found friends.

Its all good, it fuels my madness for life..
