[Closed] 'Enduro' frame bags - does this exist?

[#8288088]

Apologies for using the E word - couldn't think of an alternative.

I currently have a WeeCog Slider for local/short rides rather than always take a backpack, but with the seatpost down and the suspension compressed there's an unfortunate (and noisy) interface...

Does anyone make a small frame bag that will fit a small (16") FS bike? It's a Rocket so not much space in the front triangle.

I'm imagining something the size of the Slider that will mount slung under the top tube somewhere (rather than a big triangular thing like a traditional frame bag), but have no idea whether such a thing exists.

I know I could go full enduro and tape everything to the frame, but IMO that looks awful and not particularly an easy way to access stuff.

I'm lucky enough to have a mate who is a dab hand with a sewing machine. He has made up some straps out of velcro straps etc, I now have all my kit in small dry bags strapped to the frame, it annoys the crap out of some of my friends but that only makes me happier.

Cool looking bit of kit, but way bigger than what I'm ideally after.

Judy at Beerbabe.co.uk will make you something custom to fit - simply make a template

Would one of those top-tube bags that triathletes use be any use? Something like this.

Have you got bottle bosses under the down tube? If so, I use a Fabric Tool Keg mounted there on my bike instead of a small saddle bag.

They are pretty small but I get all the essentials in bar a pump. Could fit a co2 chuck and cartridge in though.

I do, but currently they're holding a plastic frame guard in place at the moment.

Alpkit will do you a bespoke bag if you provide a template.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Trying one of the Alpkit Enduro Pods mentioned in the other thread.

Looked at those Phil, but looking at the measurements I think it would foul the shock on my small frame.
