[#3098577]

After a wet ride at dalby on friday i've had to fit some new brake pads on the rear. The thing is, the lever now engages the brake at the slightest pull - i've tried the reach adjustment but I don't see why i'd need to mess with this as the brakes had new pads in from new about 2 weeks ago and the bite wasn't so sudden.

Have I done something wrong when changing the pads over?
Cheers

is the brake rubbing when not braking, if not then just move the levers in

if it is rubbing try pushing the pistons all the way back into the housing

Na, the brakes arent rubbing anymore after i re-positioned the caliper. The lever just doesnt seem as smooth as it was/is on the front brake

Take wheel out, take pads out, push pistons back, replace pads.

Unfortunately, you don't have the stroke adjust.

Should it be obvious when the pistons are back in their housing? I thought I had pushed them back but perhaps not far enough
