Got a stag in may during the day in the fair city...are they're any decent outdoorsy things to be had?
Outdoor karting at MacMerry down the road? Half an hour from town centre on a bus, maybe £20 each way in a taxi.
Outdoor bevvying? Trying to think of beer gardens in Edinburgh and can't come up with too many. There's the Pear Tree on the south side which is OK, but full of students. There's also one that you walk down some steps to on Rose St. There must be loads more - someone here will know some good ones.
was thinking quad bikes/shooting/outdoor sports...but good ideas..
There's a Go Ape at Beecraigs by Linlithgow, a bunch of Paintball places nearby (Bedlam by South Queensferry is prob teh biggest) and, not outdoors, the aerial assualt cource at http://www.eica-ratho.com/ is good craic.
What about the climbing centre at ratho? No the most convienient place to get too but brilliant fun. Alternative that is more central is Alien Rock down in Newhaven / leith.
When I did it for a mate a few years ago, we headed up to Dunkeld (just over an hour away by car), for 4x4 driving here

You can do rafting and other outdorr stuff with Nae Limits, another 10 mins up the road http://www.naelimits.co.uk/
Obviously, its a bit of a faff, driving up, but worth it IMHO.
Only done Hen nights so far but you could be the first Stags?

cbike - I was in a bus behind a party bike (in London) a week or so ago. Looked like a real laugh. It had a bar in the middle though!!
