There explanation on the different baggage allowances seems much clearer than when I was planning my Alps trip a couple of years ago.

Too right. I've been mailing them and tweeting them for ages but it took the combined might of Ed Oxley, singletrack and a few of us interested tour companies to kick up a twit storm ๐Ÿ™‚ Super happy and I will go back to recommending easy jet for flying with your bike.

Think they had a lot of disgruntled customers contacting them.
Well done Easyjet for listening and acting upon customer feedback!

This is a good result.

However as portlyone pointed out, the baggage part of the website is still misleading, and could really do with being changed to be clearer . Is there anything wrong with having 3 clearly distinct categories of 'baggage' on the maim page? Bags, sporting goods, and bicycles?

Baggage policy is clearer than it has ever been.
Hold baggage, small sports item and large sports item, simples!
