I'm riding a Trek Rail nowadays. I just had a FB notification, suggestion of a battery protector. It seems to be a velcro closed neoprene sleeve. What with winter approaching and living in wet west Wales I am wondering if it would be a good idea.
Any ideas anyone?
Appreciated,
Ambrose.

I expect its going to offer some protection, but I dont think neoprene is actually waterproof, and you'll need to take it off when you get home or it will remain damp and affect the paintwork,or just leech moisture slowly into the battery compartment.
I bought some cheap neoprene knee supports off eBay which fit my battery very well.
As above take off and dry out after a ride.
Batteries do lose some change in cold weather but I can't see neoprene making much difference minewere just for keeping crap out
I live in Wet Scotland and havnt used or needed a battery sleeve in the 2 1/2 years I’ve had my Eeb
surely any frame wrap will just stop the water coming out of the frame?
what does teh manufacturer suggest for wet weather. Mine says basically 'itll be fine as its designed to be wet'
