Is there a good resource for choosing one? I am running a B+M Lumotec IQ (I think ) with a 3-way switch but no reflector/daytime LED on my road bike.

IIRC it was rated at 60 lux, which seems to equal about 200 lumens. I've not tried it off road, but the beam pattern looks OK, obvs not up to current brightness standards though.

What's hot? USB charging would be nice.

Peterwhite Cycles is a great resource, they have a ton of info on Dynamo lighting. I currently have the B&M Lumotec Lux U which is 90lux max with built in usb charging which is great so far on my ECR, got it from bikediscount for £90, compared to the £140 it is here in the UK. But I've never really used it off road so I'm not sure about that.. Of course you could always get an Exposure dynamo light and get a B&M ework usb charger which sits in series with the light and hub 🙂
