im from swanwick in derbyshire and im very short on people to ride with, no one i know is intrested in mtbing at all, i want to get out on a regular basis with some like minded people but i havent been out in about 1 and a half months so i will be slow and i will be miserable the first few rides but i dont want to be a pain in the ass for the rest of the regulars that go out, so if anyone who rides with the DVATC is about to let me no what your rides are like for the noobs of the group, if id be left behind or what.

Hi Gibbo, is it night rides your after of weekends? There is usually quite a big group on a tuesday night so the rides are not very fast paced. We are a friendly bunch and endeavour not to leave anyone behind(although it has happened in the past :oops:) This weeks regular tuesday night ride is from The Rising Sun at Middleton by Wirksworth meet about 6.50 to leave at 7pm Good lights needed obviously

hello. night rides are what im looking for. i used to ride bmx with simon years ago and ive asked him and hes told my to come along to. yeah got a decent set of lights and a bag full of tools to go with. how long and how far are the rides usualy? ive rode from the rising sun with a few middleton locals on a few nite rides before and loved it.
The rides are usually about 10 miles max and usually we get back to the pub about 8.45 to 9ish depending on the ride and mechanicals etc. Yeah Simon i usually out on a tuesday, I only live round the corner from his parents
yeah that sounds great, depending on what time i finish work on Tuesday i will definitely be there sounds like good fun, i best go and sort me bike out now then and make sure it still works.lol
had an excellent ride last nite with everyone apart from finding out how unfit i have become.lol
but if anyone in derwent valley is looking to join a group id say give these guys a go everyone is really friendly n makes you feel welcome. thanks guys n ill see you next time. 😀
