wear indicators
they're wear indicators, when you can't see them it's time for new tyres
tyreworm!
Wear indicators?? I do hope you're joking! £50 tyres which last less than a month of commutes? Holy sh1t.
just looked on Ribble- I've bought a race tyre set.
I'm an idiot, aren't I.
When the hole is no longer visible they are worn, right now they are fine.
They're fine now - when the rubber has worn off down to the bottom of the little dimple then they're worn out.
I see - but surely they'll be weak spots?

How fast are you going on this commute?!
Well, not slow!
I mean for punctures. They ain't small are they?! and almost go through the depth of the tread (obviously).

Stop thinking about it too much, they'll be fine.

Thanks! Feel better now 🙂
If you don't like them then take them back, however my SO has ridden about 1500 miles on a set of Attack/Force tyres including a week in the Alps.

Cheers, thats the kind of stuff I wanted to hear. The tyres are noticeably faster and more grippy on corners than the ones I've used before, so very glad they are not "duff"
Thanks folks, please forgive my ignorance of roadie tyre tech!
Although I wouldn't like to use them for commuting.
