two different compounds of rubber used

softer on the shoulders for better grip when leant over, harder in the centre for rolling resistance/longer life

Elaine, are you going to be running those on the front or rear? I'm curious as i'm thinking of getting one for the front.

I have just bought a blue groove for the front and a nevagal for the back. And I have to say i'm split down the middle, the grip is truely awesome, and i mean awesome. Certainly up there with the best tyres i've ridden. rolling resistance is bareable, not as good as my MK's but then again i didn't expect them to be.

The only problem is their apparent lack of puncture resistance. I did a ride up in the lakes saturday and had one pinch flat and one puncture, then i went to Gisburn sunday and had another pinch flat. Maybe conincidence but I didn't have this issue with the MK's

elaine, you would be better off replacing the stick-e Nev on the rear with a DTC as these are slow draggy tyres due to the stick-e compound.
