I know there have been other threads but I've just come back from my fastest ride ever and I don't think I've suddenly become fast.
The trails around here are awesome at the moment, really dry, fast solid and my average speed has gone up from 8 mph to 10 mph on a 10 mile loop.
To some people that's slow, but I've only been riding proper for 2 years so I'm happy with that 8)
Even the short cuts across the fields are mud free so better make the most of it then.

Just come back from a ride to Holmbury Hill. Must be the driest fastest ride we've ever done there. Enjoy it while you can.
