A dunce question. If I’m looking to replace a dropper cable is it basically a gear cable as opposed to brake cable?
Going to replace the outer too as is a bit sticky at the moment.
Jag good - For some reason I think they might be but probably just based on their ad campaign! or no better than shimano or other oem brand?

Gear cable, something basic is fine.

I used to use Shimano sp41 outer and a 1.1mm stainless steel inner.
