Hi
Does anyone have any experience of frame failure following a diy drilling of a hole for a stealth dropper cable?
I have searched for previous pioneers of this process and found a fair number of examples of people who have drilled steel hard tail frames but I have found no examples of frame failures following the job.

I am aware of the warranty implications and the opinions against the wisdom of such a procedure.

Cheers

I would guess that a decent quality steel frame would be absolutely fine with having a small hole drilled in it. Bear in mind it probably has bottle cage mounts on the tubes, are they're essentially a hole with a nut welded over it.

It's just taken me bloody ages to find this but I knew I'd seen it somewhere.
