I do big-big and judge by how stretched the mech is.

Big/Big then depending on:

Full Suss - let air out of shock to get max travel +2 links

HT - +2 links

Or big + big and powerlink should be fine, but keep it on the longer side if you know what I mean.

i reckon remove a link so - big/big plus one (inc the powerlink) as you said
