Currently using a little bionicon c guide but has now worn giving off chain noise. Want a bash gaurd now also had a look at a few products and unsure what set up is best, its either a blackspire stinger with a bash ring or a blackspire twinty x2, leaning towards the second due to no maintanance as its go no rollers etc, anybody usd either of these? Going on a coyic hemlock with m785 xt cranks
Stinger doesn't fit unmodified on a Hemlock, the swingarm fouls it- easy enough to cut a bit out though. Don't worry about maintenance, the bearing is long lived. In theory I should have a Hemlockised one going spare somewhere but in practice I have no idea where it is, I can have a look if you like... It was ace but I've fitted a clutchy mech and haven't missed the device yet.
Thanks for the info northwind, I was worried about the chain stays, the stinger and bash guard is also £20 cheaper, I have no problem cutting a stinger as its cheap enough. Does much need to be cut out?
