Not in a tyre but in the bottle?

Mine seems to last pretty much indefinitely in the bottle. I keep it cool and out of light.

not IME - but then with regular changes on two bikes, plus a couple for mates here and there, i dont think a bottle gets much past 12mths

Any exposure to air and the sealant will start to dry up. But as the air volume inside the bottle is low it'll take a while.
So yes it does go off but very slowly.
