I'm shortly off to southern Spain for a couple of weeks staying not far from the town of Vera. As dispensation for having to spend 2 weeks with the in-laws on holiday I'm taking my bike.
I have had a look on google maps and it looks very lumpy in that area, so there should be some good riding. Does anyone have any links to references for riding in that area. Or even better does anyone in that area want go riding?

It's Spain. It's nice. Just take the bike, go and explore!

Hmm. But then there's a lot of pleasure to be had in discovering stuff for yerself.
Google foroMTB and either search Vera or post a question in the foreign section. Or as Elfin says, explore there are no real restictions to riding here even though it's completely illegal. Maps aren't really going to help you but you have a look for la tienda verde and buy some maps.
