I posted on the other day to ask if any body had entered the upcoming Struggle dales event as a solo rider. If they had did they fancy meeting up and riding together to make it a bit easier, taking turns to graft and draft.
However it seems to have been removed, if there is something wrong with a topic of this nature please let me know.
Isn't teaming up with another rider to share the work make you a pair rather than a solo? Sort of against the idea of you against the terrain/elements isn't it? 🤷♂️

#rocketdog no not really for this type of event, it’s not like tour divide or RAM just a roadie sportive. More than half the field will be riding in pairs or larger groups, lots of cycling clubs enter as a large group.
You can often tag onto them for a short while but there’s no guarantees, having some consistent company makes it easier to eat up the miles in between the climbs.
