i have an 80's road bike knocking about at home with campy dropouts on the frame and fork,it was personalised with the name 'poyner' when it was bought so i have no idea what frame it is.does anyone know if campy made frames or just dropouts.any help would make me happy.cheers, the pixie
It's a poyner with Campag ends.
cheers :D,can you tell me anything else about it,i have no idea what so ever about the bike.
Poyners was/is a bike shop in Wolverhampton west midlands, i used to frequent it as a teenager.
I remember Poyners fron the seventies, was it Les Poyner?
I think campag made more than just dropouts, but certainly didn't make frames.
They also made wheels for Ferrari's
i have no idea, name les poyner rings a bell, think my dad mentioned it when he bought the bike.did'nt know it was a bike shop though.
